World Cup Finals in North Cyprus

Post by Admin » Wed Feb 28, 2018 4:23 pm

The World Cup Finals begin on Friday 15th June and run until the day of the Final on Sunday 15th July. They will be broadcast on beIN Sports HD1 MAX, beIN Sports HD2 MAX, beIN Sports HD3 MAX and beIN Sports HD4 MAX

You may have seen adverts on the beIN channels and their web site which includes wording leading some customers in North Cyprus to believe that the World Cup Finals are free - this isn't the case.

The World cup Finals are included in the subscription cost to those :-

...customers who upgrade to, or renew a beIN Elite Subscription Package with one year payment in advance

...expired customers who renew on beIN's Complete Package with one year payment in advance

...new customers to beIN's Complete Subscription Package with one year payment in advance

These offers are time limited, so don't wait too long if you want to take advantage of any of them.

beIN Sports further stipulate that those customers who add the World Cup Finals to their existing subscription package whose contract ends just before the World Cup begins, or ends during the period that the World Cup is taking place, must renew their subscription and pay in full for the new one year contract period in order to be able to continue to watch the World Cup Finals.

So, let's say that your existing contract period ends on the 26th June, you may add the World Cup Finals to it and you will be able to watch the Finals until the 26th June BUT if you want to continue watching the World Cup after that date, your new 12 month subscription must be paid for in full (it cannot be paid for using the quarterly payment plan)

In simple terms, existing customers on the Top Sports Package can add the World Cup to their subscription for €132 (£120) including payment processing costs. Expired customers can subscribe to the World Cup Finals only (no other channels) at the same cost.

Sound expensive ?

Alternatively, there are various IPTV systems in North Cyprus that include numerous channels (some in HD) on which the World Cup can be watched and much more...

If you have a Set Top TV Box running the Android operating system, you may wish to consider subscribing to a private (not public), high quality (under-subscribed) IPTV system for the duration of the World Cup which will cost you about €65 - €100 (£60 - £90) for a three month period which will also provide numerous other channels.

If you do not have a Set Top Box running the Android operating system, you may wish to consider purchasing a properly specified box for about €100 (£90) which will be able to run a private (not public), high quality (under-subscribed) IPTV system to enable you to watch the World Cup and much more.

Of course, you need a good internet connection in North Cyprus, nerves of steel as you worry whether it will work properly for you to watch your favourite team and you mustn't be too bothered about a bit of buffering (just as your favourite team scores a goal, usually !)
